We offer our full menu at all of these locations so you can choose whichever venue you like. All meals are served restaurant-style – you select what you’re in the mood for right off our menu and our friendly wait staff will deliver it to your table.
Prefer some private time or simply want to enjoy a quiet meal with family? The Maplewood offers room service for your comfort and convenience. Order from our full Room Service Menu already in your room anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. by simply dialing 4035, and we’ll be sure to accommodate.

Our dining services team accommodates many different dietary needs. We have a registered dietician and a nutrition advisor to ensure a healthy diet for each resident. Our Dining Director is ServSafe Allergen Certified and both of our chefs are ServSafe Certified for food handling. In addition, our dining staff takes the time to learn residents’ food preferences so they can assist with desirable choices. Our menu always includes gluten-free and vegan options and we can prepare many of our dishes to accommodate food allergies.

Yes. Maplewood provides restaurant style dining, with a full menu of choices at every meal. Waitstaff take orders, serve meals to residents, and learn residents’ likes and dislikes to best accommodate individual preferences. At Maplewood, residents enjoy made-to-order meals featuring top quality beef, chicken, seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade desserts, and even a full service bar with an assortment of beer, wine and spirits. Each day breakfast, lunch and dinner specials are offered to enhance the menu. Maplewood is able to accommodate residents with clinical conditions or limitations regarding foods. In addition, the dining team is available to discuss preferences and special dining needs.
There are two large dining rooms, Happenings and the Elmgrove Café, where residents dine with fellow residents. In addition, Danny’s bar and grill and Danny’s Coffee Café venues are available for family members to join their loved ones for meals. In addition, during warmer weather, Maplewood offers the outdoor Maplewood Bay Café, where residents and guests can dine outdoors underneath a canopy. For those who prefer to stay in their room for a quiet meal, room service is available.
All meals and snacks are provided to residents at no additional cost. Maplewood offers breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Most residents have breakfast between 7:30am-10:00am, lunch from 11:30am-1:30pm, and dinner from 4:30-6:00pm. The dining team can accommodate food service outside these times if a resident requires this. Between meals, snacks are available any time and water/drinks are brought to residents in their rooms.
Yes. Residents may order room service and dine in their rooms. Residents can place their orders with the dining team ahead of time or they can call room service. Room service is available between 7:30am-6:00pm.
Yes - Maplewood offers gluten-free and vegan options, and many dishes can be adjusted for food allergies. In addition, the chefs are trained for special dietary needs such as soft and pureed foods. Please be sure to share specific allergies and special dining needs with the dining and care teams upon admission. These special needs will be noted in the ordering system and staff is available to assist residents in ordering items that fit their dietary needs. For dietary preferences, please share this information with dining staff so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Maplewood’s nursing staff and in-house dietician assist residents and coordinate with dining services to ensure nutritional and special dietary needs are met. If appropriate, nursing staff will refer the resident to the in-house speech/swallow therapist to address swallow-related issues. Please be sure to share any special needs with the care team upon admission to The Maplewood.
Yes – Maplewood is very happy to have guests join residents for meals as often as possible. We offer several restaurant-style venues where residents and their family and friends can order from a full menu. All resident’s meals, including those ordered in the restaurant, are provided at no cost. Family members can pay for their meals with cash or credit card. We ask that you contact dining services in advance to reserve a table so we can confirm availability and have your table set up and ready when you arrive. Residents receive all dining services at no extra cost including breakfast, lunch, dinner, beverages, alcoholic beverages, and snacks. This includes ordering room service and dining with family and friends in one of our restaurants. Special dietary needs are accommodated at no extra cost. When family and friends dine with a resident at Maplewood, residents are not charged for their meal, however their guests are charged for their meals and can pay with cash or credit card.
