    Bringing His Story to the Table

    Getting to Know Executive Chef Arin DeLucia

    Executive Chef, Arin DeLucia, enjoys using his extensive culinary skills to enhance the dining experience at the Maplewood. Arin is a graduate of the International Culinary Center (formerly the French Culinary Institute) in Manhattan.

    Arin brings his modern take on traditional dishes to the Maplewood. “I find inspiration from ingredients of multiple cultures and infusing those flavors into American classics.”

    "I go out to the dining room every chance I get and make a point of introducing myself."

    People have strong opinions about food. So even though I spend a lot of my time supervising staff, ordering product or making sure our food is the highest standard, I go out to the dining room every chance I get. I make a point of introducing myself so people know who to talk to about their meals.

    We pride ourselves on high quality and personal service. If someone comes to me with special needs like a gluten-free or a diabetic diet, I’ll order the foods to meet that need. We try hard to get it right here and we’re accountable. In fact, when I needed care for my own father, this was the only place I even considered.
